The Center for Faculty Development announced the creation of the Office for Senior Faculty Transitions. For the first presentation related to this new office: “Health of your Wealth, Financial check-up for Retirement Preparation.”
Nora Yousif, Financial Advisor and First Vice President of the Empower Wealth Group at RBC Wealth Management, provided a financial roadmap for those in their 50’s and 60’s to help ensure you are on track for a successful retirement transition. She discussed key insights to help protect the family’s financial well-being, reviewed how to help ensure participants are on track to retire at the targeted age, discussed advanced strategies to help maximize their future social security monthly benefit, review what they need to know as it pertains to Medicare, and point out how to avoid investing pitfalls in light of rising interest rates and a recovering economy.
